With a Fighting Spirit, we at the Pregnancy Help Center pray with, educate, inform, listen, and direct women who come to us pregnant and in crisis. They may be undecided about what to do or wanting an Abortion. What About You? God wants His mission for Life to be Ours! Join a team of like-minded servants. We challenge you to get involved. The women who come to us need you. Yes, one person can make a difference. Please call Susan Saul s at 969-0523 for information. Hours are Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

| ADDED 3-14-08: The Lake Morton Senior Center Thrift Shop is in need of used clothing and household items in good condition, knick knacks or other treasures that you no longer need. Please bring your donations to 803 E. Palmetto Street, across from the Lakeland Library. There are signs on the windows. |

| ADDED 3-14-08: Catholic Charities is accepting donations of household items and clothing in good condition for a Spring Sale to be held in the Parish Hall at Church of the Resurrection on Saturday, April 5th from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Please bring them by the Catholic Charities office on 1801 E. Memorial Blvd. or contact Jackie Reycraft, 686-7153 for pick-up of larger items. |

| ADDED 2-24-08: HELP! DETROIT TIGERS 2008 SPRING TRAINING - Our Resurrection Knights of Columbus, Council 10169 is looking for a few more volunteers to work the left field area food concessions. Come and join with our friends – some from Canada, too. This effort has provided funds for our local charities, including Talbot House, Pregnancy Help Center, Basketball Youth Program and education. SCIENTISTS NEEDED: If you are a scientist (by professional experience or education) and willing to share your talent by Resurrection Catholic School’s annual Science fair, please call the school at 644-3931. This year’s Science Fair will be held Thursday, Dec. 6th, starting at 4 pm. We are particularly in need of scientists to judge projects in behavioral science, Botany, Environmental, Science, Engineering, Physics & Chemistry. |
