Santa Fe Catholic High School
Mission: Santa Fe Catholic High School, a ministry of the Catholic Diocese of Orlando, offers a program of college preparatory studies encompassing values grounded in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and serves the families of the surrounding communities.

Faith is the cornerstone on which Santa Fe is built. From the first step onto the campus it is evident that we are here to further the message of Jesus and that a commitment to the Gospel message is the point and purpose of our school.

Prayer is at the start of every day. The students gather for Mass every week and reconciliation services are conducted periodically during the year. The lens of faith is the prism through with education is accomplished.

The Santa Fe Community takes the Gospel command to serve one another to heart. All students donate 25 hours of volunteer service in the community annually. This enables our young people to begin the process of seeing beyond themselves and learning responsibility for others in the local community. Each year nearly one quarter of the student body participates in the Catholic Heart Work Camp. We have recently added a mission trip to Nicaragua and hope to visit our Diocesan mission in the Dominican Republic. The students put their hands to work serving those who are less fortunate. This provides an opportunity for hands-on faith learning and the development of values that last a lifetime.

Beyond and at the root of all things we do is a faith attitude. This attitude guides our decision-making and every interaction between students, teachers, administrators and parents. God has blessed and continues to bless Santa Fe.

Educating the Whole Child
Santa Fe strives to educate every student in mind, body and spirit. To that end the school provides a comprehensive athletic program and is competitive in its division annually. Additionally, clubs like Chess, SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions), Drum Line, Drama, Poetry and many others exist to involve students as well as building self-esteem, responsibility, and teamwork.

Academics that Soar

  • Santa Fe Catholic is the only private high school in Polk County certified by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
  • Santa Fe offers a Summa Cum Laude Program that is rigorous and challenging for our gifted students. In order to be considered for the Summa Cum Laude program, students must have a 3.75 GPA and be enrolled in honors courses in their freshmen year.
  • More than 98% of Santa Fe's graduating seniors further their education in college programs.
  • 77% of Santa Fe graduating seniors received Florida Bright Futures Scholarships.
  • Santa Fe offers the College Board Advanced Placement Program in 9 subject areas and students through that program can gain nearly 30 college credits that are accepted nationally before they leave high school.
  • The Santa Fe faculty is made up of all accredited faculty members and more than 67% of the teachers hold advanced degrees.
  • Santa Fe is developing a newly established skills program for students who struggle academically or have been diagnosed with learning disabilities.
